The most important resource and tool to enroll in health insurance for Washington State residents. Open enrollment: October 1st, 2013 to March 31st, 2014. Starting this fall, Washington residents will have a new way to find, compare and enroll in health insurance. It's called Washington Healthplanfinder, and it gives individuals, families, and small business owners the confidence to choose the plan that best fits their needs and their budget. Washington residents will be able to start the process of buying insurance through the state's health exchange next month, but many likely still have a few questions about their insurance options. A Spokane-based toll-free customer support line will take calls at 855-923-4633, and potential customers will have a live person to talk with about plan choices, costs and what kind of subsidies for which they might be eligible. The call center, staffed by 80 people, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
CHOICE Regional Health Network
The lead for organizing the network of in-person assisters in the area and will be creating easy-to-use tools to find your local IPA, provide feedback on the program, and get connected to free or low-cost insurance.
