Library History
The first Granger Library was established in 1914. Annexed to the Rural County Library District in 1946, the Library is currently housed in a former church.

From I-82 Southbound:

Granger is approximately 25 miles south from Yakima on I-82.
- Take the Granger exit, #58.
- Turn right toward Granger. You will come to an immediate right at the convenience
store.
- Turn right onto Bailey Avenue, which will take you into
town.
- It's about a mile into Granger. You will see Roosevelt School on the right, and the library on
the left in the building that once was a church.
From I-82 Northbound:
Granger is approximately 15 miles north from Sunnyside on
I-82.

Parking:
Staff and customers park in the lot
directly to the north of the library, or across the street at the
school, if necessary.
