The Relander Collection at Yakima Central Library holds many unique Pacific Northwest history resources. Yakima Valley early history is the primary focus of the collection. Relander’s activities as a researcher and his interest in the Indians of Central Washington led him to collect documentary source materials of national historic importance, spanning the territorial period through mid-20th century America.
