White Swan Community Library Closure
Yakima, WA – Beginning Tuesday, March 29, the White Swan Community Library will close temporarily to allow library administrators and management to address unanticipated operational issues.
At this time, a re-opening date for the community library has not been determined, but that information will be shared with the public as soon as it is available.
Patrons who regularly use the White Swan Library may wish to visit the Harrah, Wapato, or Toppenish community libraries.

In addition, because the White Swan Community Library does not have an exterior book return, patrons should plan to return library materials to an alternative community library. However, to help mitigate the effects of this unexpected closure, library materials checked out by White Swan patrons will be excluded from accruing overdue fines through Saturday, April 30, or until the library reopens, whichever is sooner.
Finally, beginning Monday, April 4, the nearby Harrah Community Library (21 E. Pioneer St.) will temporarily be open for an additional three days each week, Monday to Friday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., until further notice.
