Yakima Valley Libraries now offers library card holders free access to Kanopy streaming video service. Kanopy presents thoughtful entertainment with access to more than 30,000 feature films, documentaries, international films, foreign language, and independent films from leading producers and suppliers, including the Criterion Collection, Frontline, Kino Lorber, and thousands of independent filmmakers.
Library users can access up to 5 films or “plays” per month. Kanopy Kids users will have unlimited access each month to everything available in Kanopy Kids. Sign up for an account here.
Watch Kanopy films on iOS devices, Android phones and tablets, Amazon Fire tablets, Apple TV and Airplay, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Telstra TV, Chromecast or via HDMI cable from computer to TV.

Public Screenings: Films from Kanopy come with Public Performance Rights. Viewing films in a group forum is permitted as long as the viewing is by authorized viewers and it is not for commercial benefit (i.e. no admission costs are charged and no profit is made from the screening).
