Read, Learn and Play:
Yakima Valley Libraries to Host Events for International Games Week
Yakima, WA – Beginning November 6, Yakima Valley Libraries joins over a thousand libraries
around the world in celebrating the power of games and play during International Games Week.
Libraries are an ideal venue to explore the many benefits of games, which help players build
skills like problem-solving, teamwork, spacial reasoning, social interaction and more—all while
having fun!
Library locations throughout the Yakima Valley will offer a variety of gaming programs and
events for the whole family, where participants can play board games, card games, computer
games, or try their hand at print-and-play games.
