Selah Community Library to Close March 3rd-27th for Building Updates
Yakima, WA – Beginning Thursday, March 3, the Selah Community Library will close temporarily while the building’s interior is painted and new carpet is installed. The library is scheduled to re-open to the public on Monday, March 28.
Yakima Valley Libraries has coordinated with the Selah Civic Center (216 S. 1st St) in order to provide holds pick-up out of the Civic Center beginning on Monday, March 7. Library service hours at the Civic Center will be Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm.
No holds pick up will be available at the Civic Center on the following dates: March 11, March 14-15, and March 24-25.
Library materials can be returned to the outdoor book return at the Selah Community Library, or returned to library staff at the Selah Civic Center during the open hours and days listed above.

Patrons wishing to visit a library in-person during the temporary Selah Library closure can find the locations and open hours for all 17 community libraries on the YVL website: www.yvl.org/locations.
