YVL to Host Legal Aid Workshop on Immigration
Yakima, WA – On Sunday at 1pm, Yakima Valley Libraries will again host Lawyers in the Library, a free, legal aid program offered at Yakima Central Library.
This month’s session will focus on the immigration process and will provide attendees with the opportunity to have immigration-related legal questions answered by an attorney. Sunday’s session will mark the third time the Lawyers in the Library program has focused on immigration information.
According to librarian and program coordinator, Matt Kendall, the topic continues to be one of the program’s most popular and well-attended sessions, primarily because the information is free and patrons are able to ask questions specific to their own legal situations.
The workshop will be presented by immigration attorney Jodi Felton.
